Collaborate on cocoa, compete on chocolate

Tony's Open Chain is an initiative that started in 2019. It operates via a shared sourcing and costing model with all of our clients, who we call Mission Allies, to end exploitation of people and planet in cocoa.

In this talk we'll introduce you to the challenges the cocoa industry is facing, our ideas to mitigate them and provide you with more information on how Tony's Open Chain works. 

Furthermore, you will hear from our very first Mission Ally, Albert Heijn. They recently expanded their cocoa commitment with us significantly, and you will be able to hear first-hand what Tony's Open Chain means to them.
