Sweets Global Network Guided Tours
Appreciation for the value chain
Guided Tours were organised by the trade magazine ‘sweets processing’ for the first time in 2024. Following its success, this communicative format is now entering the next round. The new edition on Monday and Tuesday (3 and 4 February 2025) also focused on the entire value chain.

The focus was be on ingredients as well as mixers, portioners, fillers and packaging machines. The focus was also on sustainable packaging materials, which are increasingly being used in the industry. Energy-saving potential during production was also discussed, which must be utilised in order to survive on the market and present a positive image to customers. The broad technological range will be supplemented by IT solutions, with a focus on AI solutions, as this is where the development advances that simplify production could be found.
In addition to the technical programme, there was of course the opportunity to network - a very important aspect of ProSweets. The tour ended on Monday at the stage with the programme for production managers, and on Tuesday at the starting point. So the trade fair highlights were thick and fast.
