About MSc Jens Schröder
Jens Schröder is a qualified industrial electronics engineer with a subsequent Bachelor's and Master's degree in electrical engineering specialising in communication and automation systems at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. In 2013, he joined the DIL German Institute of Food Technologies in the field of automation technology. He subsequently coordinated the department's research activities and acted as project leader in various projects. Since 2019, he has been responsible for the Automation Technology unit as head of department. Topics include handling systems, robotics, image processing systems, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. These fields of research correspond to the digitalisation field of activity of the Lower Saxony State Initiative for the Food Industry (LI Food), for which Jens Schröder is responsible.
